Does your doctor know just how much you appreciate him or her? All of our lives have been impacted by the care and compassion of a physician. Physicians are responsible for our health from birth to death, from the delivery room to the nursing home. They've set your broken arms, and immunized you against the next threatening flu strain. And now is the time to thank them.
In 1990, President George Bush officially declared March 30th National Doctor's Day. Doctor's Day is the perfect opportunity to show your doctor how much his or her hard work and dedication means to you.
There are plenty of ways to show your appreciation:
- Send a thank you card - The classic option. It's never a bad idea to send a thank you card.
- Email a message - If you don't want to buy a thank you card, just send an email.
- Give them a gift - A small gift is fine. Hint: Doctors like chocolate.
