Men’s Health Month!

June is Men’s Health Month and at Family Physicians Group we encourage all of our male patients to seek early detection and treatment for diseases among males. The purpose of Men’s Health Month is to bring awareness of conditions and the necessary screenings, so men can continue to live a healthy and active life.

To help celebrate Men’s Health Month, Family Physicians Group will be providing health education and scheduling screenings for all our male patients. Here are some helpful tips to help the guys live longer, healthier and happier.

  1. Make healthy lifestyle changes - FPG can help you adopt and maintain positive lifestyle changes, like proper nutrition and exercise, so you can achieve all your health and wellness goals.
  2. Monitor Your Numbers - Keep track of you blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose, body mass index (BMI), PSA levels, or any other numbers you need to monitor. Like they say: Knowing is half the battle.
  3. Healthy Aging Means Prevention – Senior citizens enrolled with Medicare can receive many preventive health services and screenings free of co-pays.
Let’s begin by getting tested!

Preventative screenings are imperative for early detection, when cancer and disease is the most preventable. For more information call 1.866.999.3741 or schedule your appointment with FPG, today.
