It’s almost time for 2014! I’ve got big plans for the New Year and a new resolution. Have you picked a New Year’s resolution, yet? Maybe you should make it about your health, like I am.

Getting healthy, losing weight and getting fit are common resolutions, but too few of us succeed.  As your trusted source for primary care, FPG has a shared interest in your improved health, and we’d like to help you achieve that goal.

What you may not know is just how many preventive health screenings are out there – many of which are made available to Medicare recipients at no additional cost.  In most cases, that means you don’t have a co-pay!  So, there’s no good reason why we can’t be up-to-date on our screenings. Medicare Part B covers:

Schedule a Yearly “Wellness” Visit

The easiest way to get started is by scheduling your yearly “Wellness” visit.  From there, your provider can let you know what other screenings you need to get.  Good luck to you and we hope you have a healthy and prosperous 2014!
